In a racist society, we are reduced to polarising views, values and beliefs about race which become binary cartoonish stereotypes. A racist society will always value white as paramount; the most pure, the highest moral attainment. Anything other is a lower class, abnormal and abhorrent.
In a racist society, the legacy of racial caste systems still exist in a form.
Society unconsciously strives to always place the highest value on ridding anyone of anything but their whitehood, their fair, European characteristics. Many colonised peoples and their descendants are products of policies and mandates of outbreeding, rape and genocide. Colonial legacies aiming to tame, enslave and control the 'savage' and ensure white supremacy. These descendants are lighter skinned, have mixed features and have their true roots obfuscated. The Half Caste.
