about

This society is a prison experiment. Every single one of us is a prisoner within it's oppressive structure. We are nothing but dogs on a short leash, conditioned to tolerate the confinement of this racist world. Black, brown and coloured bodies are beaten by those who uphold the role of the guards. Given scraps, tokens to barter and beg with, while guards and oppressors have clubs and guns.
But history has shown us time and time again, if you beat a dog long enough, you oppress man long enough, they will resist and violently if necessary. "We revolt simply because, for many reasons, we can no longer breathe” - Frantz Fanon.

When those who are deemed the wretched of the earth, rise up, the oppressor will find that those who thought were weak are strong.
They will break free of their leash, their chains and mental bonds.
They will come down upon their jailor like a landslide, an inevitable, unstoppable force of nature.

lyrics

Tighten the leash.
Freedom you speak
Poison the water
Make us the 'other'

Beat a dog.
You will be bitten.
Oppress a man
History’s written.

Your cage won't hold for long
The will of the wretched ,forever strong
Strike the rock, a landslide will come
On this day, Oppressor, run

“The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressed,
Is the mind of the oppressed”

Slip the leash
